Bob Allen is a native of Fayette County,
Kentucky. He received his BS degree in Animal Science and MS degree Extension Education, Agronomy emphasis, from Purdue University.
He started his career in the Purdue Extension Service in May of 1980 in Floyd County as a 4-H Youth Educator. In 1990 he attained
CED responsibilities.
He transferred to
Clark County CES in August of 1998 in his current position. Bob is currently serving as Area 2’s Youth Section
Chair, State 4-H Curriculum Committee, State 4-H/FFA Agricultural Judging Committee, Instructor for the State 4-H Shooting
Sports Instructor Team Hunting/Wildlife discipline), IDNR Hunter Education Instructor since and has worked as an Indiana State
Fair 4-H Swine Barn Assistant since 1981. Currently is serving as Area 2 ATV Program chair.
Professional memberships: NAE4-HA since 1980, IEEA since 1980, currently serving
as Area 2 Interest committee. Lifetime member of the Purdue Alumni Association, and Indiana Hunter Education Instructor Association.
Other memberships: Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Rifle Association, National Wild Turkey Federation,
New Washington First Baptist Church.
Interest-Organizing
and providing outdoor education opportunities for youth in regards to Sportfishing, Hunting and Firearm Safety, Wildlife Management,
and ATV safety.
